Powder brows is a tattooing technique in which a small cosmetic tattoo machine with a micro needle is used to add semi-permanent pigment to the skin. Powder brows differs from standard eyebrow microblading because this method created dots rather than hair-strokes. Microblading is created by hand using a blade which creates fine slices in the skin, whereas eyebrow tattoos are done with a machine and single needle bundle. It deposits pigment into the upper region of the dermis, so it fades more rapidly than traditional tattooing techniques, which deposit pigment deeper. Powder brows can be as light or as dark as you’d like. Results are very similar to powdered make-up.

The colour is always intense for the first few days directly after the session, and this will heal to be up to 50% lighter after 1 week. A second session, known as the touch-up, is recommended within 10 weeks to perfect any areas that might not have healed well or healed too light.

If your client suffers from cold sores it is mandatory that they take anti-viral medication prescribed from a doctor 7 days prior to the appointment and 3 days after the appointment.
